Currach

This is an Irish Currach-a boat with it´s roots in old irish history.
The original ones were made of a light timber framework covered in
animal hide. Nowadays they are covered in canvas which is then tarred.
This wall hanging is made of a crushed stone and resin mixture and measures
approx 1ft /30cm x5.5ins or 14 cm.
